Miss Universe Canada 2022 is all set to be held in the city of Toronto, Ontario on 14th May 2022 at 8:00 pm where delegates from all over the country will compete for national crown. The winner will succeed Miss Universe Canada 2021 Tamara Jemuovic and represent Canada at Miss Universe 2022.
The organization recently announced the delegates who will fight for the national crown. While this year’s batch boasts of talented experienced and new divas, there is one who has already become an early-favourite for the title. Mattea Henderson is all set to try her luck at Miss Universe Canada 2022 after her stint in 2019.
Mattea Henderson is not new to the pageantry as she holds extensive experience under her belt; she competed at Miss Intercontinental 2017 and with her stellar performance, she placed in the Top 20. In 2019, Henderson competed at Miss Universe Canada 2019 but could not win a placement. In the same year, she tried her luck at Miss Earth Canada 2019 and ended up winning the national title. She represented Canada at Miss Earth 2019 but could not win a placement.
Naturally an ambitious individual driven by the principal of gratitude, Mattea graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mount Royal University, majoring in Marketing and minoring in International Business. Education has always been a strong pillar in Mattea’s life and has led her in the direction of utilizing her education as a means of helping others. Mattea feels that those who have access to education should create a better world.
