Maxine Medina, who won Miss Universe Philippines title in 2016, is now engaged to her boyfriend Timmy Llana after he popped the question during their vacation in Palawan. Timmy is a diving instructor by profession.
The beauty queen announced her engagement by showing off her ring on her social media two days ago. “Finally my forever,” Medina wrote.
Medina and Llana got engaged while they were on vacation with other friends at a resort in Coron, Palawan. They were all having dinner by the beach when Llana proposed. “This is the start of my always. @timmyllana I LOVE YOU!” she wrote in the caption.
Medina received congratulatory greetings from fellow friends and beauty queens Iza Calzado, Rayver Cruz, Winwyn Marquez, Cassy Legaspi and Miriam Quiambao, among others. The couple have been together since three years and marked their third anniversary in June last year.
Maxine Medina won Miss Universe Philippines title in 2016 as she became the official representative of the country at Miss Universe 2016. She represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2016 and finished as a Top 6 finalist.
