Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina is to begin her acting career with the Upcoming OctoArts movie “The haunted”. Revealed in an Instagram post by her pageant mentor, Jonas Gaffud, Maxine has been signed as one of the leading ladies and will get to work with well-known actors like Daniel Matsunaga, Benjamin Alves, and Enrico Cuenca in the film.
About his role in the movie, Alves said in a separate Instagram post “I’m excited to be partnered with Maxine Medina soon on the big screen! Just please don’t wear heels. Expect lots of surprises from this talented lady.”
Madina had also said in an interview the last march that she was not closing her doors on the possibility of joining showbiz.
A senior member of Professional Model Institution and interior designer, Maxine Medina was crowned as Miss Universe Philippines in 2016 after which she went on to represent the Philippines at the 65th Miss Universe, and was placed in the Top 6.
