Reigning Miss Universe Rbonney Gabriel and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray recently came together to shoot for Vogue Philippines October issue and also spoke about topics such as manifesting, changing mindsets, and the pursuit of happiness.

Also present at the shoot were other Filipina queens who made the country proud on various international stages such as Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez, Miss World 2013 Megan Young, and Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee.

On talking about finding happiness, Catriona Gray quoted "I feel like the thief of joy is comparison—always looking to what you lack or don’t have or to what other people have and you don’t. But when I started counting the things to be grateful for, they can be as simplistic as, thank you that I have a safe, warm bed to sleep in tonight, that I have a roof over my head, I have food on my table.”

“As soon as you start counting those things, it really makes you view the world in a different place. And I feel like when you’re able to shift your mindset that way, no matter what storms you’re heading into or what challenges lay ahead of you, like you’ll always see something good in it”, she added.

Rbonney also believes that everyone has something to offer to the world. "I truly believe that everybody is born with a capability or an offering to the world—something special, something unique. It doesn’t have to be grand. I mean everybody has a place in this world.”

R'Bonney Gabriel, after a successful reign, is set to crown her successor at the 72nd edition of Miss Universe on 18th November in El Salvador.
