Miss Universe Cayman Islands organization, through their official social media, announced that Chloe Powery-Doxey will be representing Cayman Islands at Miss Universe 2022. Chloe is taking over the duty of representing her country from Tiffany Conolly, the reigning Miss Universe Cayman Islands.

Chloe Powery-Doxey is 25 years of age and a coach and Women of Valor Basketball Club alumna from the district of George Town. She replaced Tiffany Conolly because Tiffany is currently facing legal proceedings related to assault, property damage, and disorderly conduct.

The national organization took to their official social media as they wrote, “The Miss Cayman Islands Universe Committee is announcing that the 1st Runner Up in the 2022 pageant, Chloe Powery-Doxey has been selected as the alternate who will represent the Cayman Islands at the Miss Universe Pageant in New Orleans on 14 January 2023.”

“Miss Powery-Doxey and the 2022 Miss Cayman Islands Universe 2nd Runner-Up, Hayley Grizzel, will both continue to be active in the community as alternates for the titleholder Tiffany Conolly until further notice. The Miss Cayman Islands Universe Committee supports Miss Powery-Doxey on her journey to the world stage and wishes her all the best as she represents the Cayman Islands at the international pageant”, they added.

Miss Universe 2022 will be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA on 14th January 2022 where Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
