The coronation ceremony of Miss Universe Chile 2020 will be held later this year where the delegates will compete for the title as well as an opportunity to represent Chile at Miss Universe 2020 stage. Chile is one of the few countries who has sent their respective representatives to Mis Universe pageant since 1952 and has placed 13 times at the semi-finals with winning the crown once when Cecilia Bolocco was crowned in 1987.
The organization has recently announced the three delegates who will be competing for the title at the competition and out of four Sofia Depassier who will be representing comunidad extranjera (Foreign Community) at the competition is emerging as one of the fan favourites for the title. She is 22-years-old and stands 174 cm tall. She is a professional model and actress and currently works as a beautician. She is excited to be a part of such prestigious platform which will help her to represent Chile at Miss Universe 2020 stage if she wins.
Born in Santiago de Chile, the diva migrated to the USA where she settled down and started working as an English teacher. She is not new to pageantry as she was one of the participants at Miss Teen South Florida 2004 and won the title of Miss Photogenic. She has immense amount of dedication and potential to be representing Chile at Miss Universe 2020 stage.
Sofia is passionate about beauty pageants and believes that she has the skills and abilities to represent Chile at international level.
