On June 29’ 2016 Miss Universe China Organisation and Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) have signed an agreement wherein the 16 finalists of Miss Universe China 2016 will be travelling to Thailand where they will be filmed for a week in October. The contestants will also undergo various other preliminary activities.

Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT Governor gave an insight to the agreement and said, “This agreement forms part of the TAT’s broader initiative to promote Thailand as a women friendly destination. For the Chinese market in particular, the hosting of 16 finalists in the Miss Universe China 2016 will help attract more affluent women travellers from China to Thailand, especially after they see how the contestants have come to enjoy discovering the many amazing experiences in Thailand.”

The 16 contestants of Miss Universe China 2016 will witness various activities in Bangkok, Pattaya, and Chiang Mai. The finalists will even participate at various charitable and social activities. At the finals to be held in November 2016 the audience will witness the activities of the finalists and all the efforts they have put in.

The finalists will also take part in fashion shows and post for a photo-shoot in Thai traditional dress. The finalists of Miss Universe China 2016 will be joined b the Miss Universe China 2015 Yun Fang Xue and the member of Miss Universe China Organisation, during their visit to Thailand. The events and activities that the contestants will go through will be shared live through the Miss Universe China Organisation’s website.
