All about Miss Universe Curacao 2023 Kim Rossen for Miss Universe 2023

The finale of the 2023 edition of Miss Universe Curacao was held on 27th May 2023 at the World Trade Center Curacao in Willemstad where Kim Rossen was crowned Miss Universe Curacao 2023 as she became the official representative of her country at Miss Universe 2023.

Kim Joanna Dorothy Rossen is a Curacaoan athlete, occupational therapist, model and beauty queen. In 2022, she received her occupational therapy diploma from the University of Rotterdam in Rotterdam. Not new to the pageantry, Kim competed against nine other candidates at Miss Curaçao Holland 2023 at Theater Zuidplein in Rotterdam where she was runner-up to Shashinduska Nazir.

Since 2015, Kim has won multiple accolades as an athlete; she finished second in 400 meters in the Breda Dutch U20 Championships in Breda, North Brabant, Netherlands. In 2019, she finished third in 400 meters in the Dutch Club Championships in Vught, North Brabant and won the 400 meters event in the Ter Specke Bokaal in Lisse, South Holland, Netherlands.

In the same year, she also finished fourth at the FBK Games at the Blankers-Koen Stadion in Hengelo, Overijssel, Netherlands and second in the Flanders Cup in Lokeren, East Flanders, Belgium. Along with her, Bianty Gomperts was adjudged as the first runner-up while Kimberly Fernandez was adjudged as the second runner-up.

Kim succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Curacao 2022 Gabriela Dos Santos who represented Curacao at Miss Universe 2022 and placed in the Top 5 historically. Miss Universe 2023 will be the 72nd edition of the international pageant to be held in 2023 in El Salvador. R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
