As Miss Denmark Organization has recently taken over the national franchise of Miss Universe Denmark, the organization crowned Helena Heuser as Miss Universe Denmark 2018. There was no competition held at the organization will host its first edition next year. Helena was appointed and crowned by the organization itself. She will take her first official walk as the national crown holder at the finale of Miss Denmark 2018 to be held on 12th September 2018.

With the official confirmation from the organization, their social media showed, “We are very excited to announce that Helena Heuser is the newly crowned Miss Universe Denmark 2018 who will represent her country at the 67th edition of the Miss Universe pageant, which will be held on December 17th 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand, where Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa will crown her successor at the Miss Universe 2018 Coronation night.”

The 21-year-old Helena grew up and lived at the countryside for 18 years of her live, but she’s currently living in the capital of Denmark - Copenhagen. She stands a whopping 180 cm tall.

Not new to the pageant world, Helena is a former winner of the Miss Denmark pageant and Miss World 2016 representative. For the past 2 years, she has been very involved with the Miss Denmark Organization where she has had a role as a mentor and casting assistant. This year Helena will be a member of the jury of the Miss Denmark 2018.

Helena has been working as a volunteer at the Red Cross Organization and has been raising money for different causes. Helena has an infectious humor, and loves being a part of a social environment. She’s very outgoing and you can definitely feel her passion for meeting new people. She is a hardworking and innovative woman with a warm heart.

As a part of social change, earlier this year, Helena started a project on her social media called ‘This Is Me.’ Helena wishes to bring forward the issue of showing only perfect pictures on social media and wishes to be an inspiration by showing others how important it is to accept your body in the exact way it is. She wants to show an unfiltered version of beauty, so that young woman can look up to her and experience a refreshing take on what a real body looks like.
