Miss Egypt Universe 2019, the 35th edition of the national beauty pageant, was held on 20th October 2019 at the Al Masa Hotel in Cairo, Egypt where Diana Hamed was crowned the new queen. Miss Universe Egypt 2018 Nariman Khaled crowned her successor at the end of the event finale.
Diana bested nineteen other contestants to win the national crown. She is 24 years of age and hails from Cairo. The stunning Egyptian beauty performed with excellence and grace at the contest. Diana is a model by profession who has had the opportunity to travel around the world experiencing different cultures. She will surely be a tough contender at the international platform.
The contestants who competed for Miss Universe Egypt 2019 were Aya Abdallah, Aya Abdelrazek, Aya Hamdy, Bassant Shereif, Diana Hamed, Enjy Elmorshed, Lujin Adel, Mayar Ahmed, Miral Abdelmessih, Merna Mekawy, Mirna Seif Elnasr, Rania Elsharakwy, Shams Hassan, Shams Ossama, Suhaila Khairy, Veronica Gamal, Virginia Milad and Youstina Adel.
Last year, Nariman Khaled Miss Universe Egypt 2018 represented her country in Miss Universe 2018 but failed to place in the Top. The country is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Universe.
