Miss Universe is going through a transformation under the new leadership of JKN Global and joining it is Guyana who is all set to return to Miss Universe pageant who last competed in 2017. The 72nd Miss Universe competition will see the return of Guyana under the directorship of Teri Brown-Walker.
Teri is an awarded winning State Director of various pageant systems in the United States and a accomplished Talent Acquisition Leader with an extensive track record in mastering recruitment fundamentals and collaborating with Business Leaders to create and turn strategy into action and deliver results.
On making it as the new director and starting a new journey, Teri took to her official social media as she wrote, “Good Friday Indeed! My heart is filled with so much gratitude. I am pleased to announce my first season as the National Director for Miss Universe Guyana. Being a part of this organization is a dream come true. Guyana debuted at Miss Universe in 1956. Since then, they competed a total of 22 times, last time being in 2017. They have yet to secure their first placement at the competition.
