Miss Universe 2016 is on its way to the finale, and with only few weeks left for the gala night the tension and anxiety is going high in the contestants. From contestants to the organisation, the preparations are at its full swing. Pia Wurtzbach of Philippines will pass on her crown to her successor on the eve of 30th January 2017. While the delegates are gearing up to give their best shot, Miss Universe Haiti Raquel Pelissier is making sure to groom herself best before the pageant kicks in.
Raquel Pelissier, Miss Universe Haiti 2016, is in Bogotá, Colombia for her final training. The beauty queen is working on her communication skills, her ramp-walk skills and is also trying out different looks to flash during the pageant. 25 years old Raquel Pelissier stands tall at an astounding height of 181cm and speaks English, French, Spanish, Haitian, Creole and German. Raquel has a degree in Optometry and has a Masters in Scientific Research. She is among the favourites for the Miss Universe 2016 title.
Recently, there were reports that the Miss Universe Haiti Organisation was seeking help to finance Raquel for the Miss Universe pageant. The Organisation asked for help via “Go Fund Me” account and wrote, “In the midst of post Hurricane Matthew, a lot of sponsors have pulled out on us to support other causes. Therefore, Miss Haiti Organization finds itself struggling financially to participate in Miss Universe 2016. Thus, we seek your support in helping us, and Miss Haiti Universe 2016, Raquel Pelissier reach out goals.... Miss Haiti Universe 2016 is among the favorites of this year’s contest. Money raised will be used to pay for Entry Fees and travel expenses. Thank you for helping us reach our goals !!! Help spread the word!”
It looks like the beauty queen is now well prepared to give some tough competition to her co-contestants at MU 2016. On her twitter account, Raquel shared a picture of her makeover by Fabian Chacón.
