At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Universe Iceland 2018 held tonight, Katrín Lea Elenudóttir was crowned the new queen by the outgoing Miss Universe Iceland 2017 Arna Ýr Jónsdóttir. Katrin will now be Iceland’s delegate at Miss Universe 2018.
The gorgeous 19-year-old beauty won the local title of Miss Midnight Sun 2018 and she can speak four languages namely Danish, English, Icelandic and Russian. She stands 172 cm tall.
At the beginning of the finale, an accomplished panel of jury announced the Top 10 contestants out of the 14 competing for the title - Eva þóra Hartmannsdóttir, Móeiður Svala Magnúsdóttir, Aníta Ösp Ingólfsdóttir, Katrín Lea Elenudóttir, Jóna Dóra Hólmarsdóttir, Sunneva Sif Jónsdóttir, Hulda Vigdísardóttir, Elísa Gróa Steinþórsdóttir and Tinna Björk Stefánsdóttir.
Tinna Björk Stefánsdóttir - Miss Grindavik 2018 won the title of People’s Choice and was given a straight ticket to the top 10. The gorgeous beauties gave a strong competition to each other to win the national crown.

The finale reached its conclusion and Katrin Lea took home the coveted crown. She was a part of our Top 3 favourite contestants competing for the title of Miss Universe Iceland 2018 as well.
