Elísabet Hulda Snorradottir crowned Miss Universe Iceland 2020

Miss Universe Iceland 2020 finale night was held yesterday, i.e. 23rd October 2020 at Keflavik’s Hljómahöll Stapi Center where Elísabet Hulda Snorradottir was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Iceland at Miss Universe 2020. She succeeds Miss Universe Iceland 2019 Birta Abiba Þórhallsdóttir.

Hailing from Reykjavik, Elísabet competed with absolutely sincerity and dedication at the national contest to win the crown. She is fluent in languages such as English, Icelandic, Korean, Japanese and is learning Mandarin and Thai.

Miss Universe Iceland 2020 Elísabet Hulda Snorradottir’s court includes:

First Runner-up: Sunneva Halldórsdóttir

Second Runner-up: Kamilla Kristrúnardóttir

This was not Elisabet’s first stint at Miss Universe Iceland as the stunning beauty participated last year at Miss Universe Iceland 2019 and ended up being adjudged as the first runner-up.

Securing the second place in the competition, Disa Dungal became the official representative of Iceland at Miss Supranational 2020. She was a crowd’s favourite ever since the beginning of the competition. The contestants who competed for Miss Universe Iceland 2020 were Thelma Líf Heiðarsdóttir, Kamilla Kristrúnardóttir Hancock, Amelia Rún Pétursdóttir, Unnur Yr Ólafsdóttir, Dísa Dungal, Berglind Yr, Heiðisardottir, Heidrun Anna Eyjólfsdóttir, Melkorka Sól Sigurjónsdóttir, Kiana Sif Limehouse, Jenny Sulollari, Sunna Dögg Jonsdottir, Moeidur Svala Magnúsdóttir, Mirjam Yrsa Friðleifsdóttir, Anna Mist Gudmondsdottir, Díana Iva Gunnarsdottir, Auðbjörg Helga Oskardottir, Sunneva Halldórsdóttir, Alexandra Kristin Jóhnsdóttir, Tanja Styrmisdóttir, Elísabet Hulda Snorradottir, and Halla Karen Johnsdottir.

Last year, Birta Abiba Þórhallsdóttir Miss Universe Iceland 2019 represented Iceland in Miss Universe 2019 and with her excellent performance, she placed in the Top 10. Iceland is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Universe.
