Miss Universe India 2020 Adline Quadros Castelino has begun her journey to the 69th Miss Universe as she flew off to Florida a few hours ago. Adeline who recently survive the huge Covid-19 wave in India, felt ecstatic as she shared the news on her social media where she wrote, “A moment which I always dreamt of is finally here! I am departing to Florida to represent my beautiful nation India at Miss Universe Competition.”
Miss Diva Organisation also announced Adline’s departure with a post which said, “The time has come! Our LIVA Miss Diva Universe 2020, Adline Castelino is ready to jet off to Florida to represent our country at the 69th Miss Universe Pageant.”
They also added, “The journey up until here wasn’t easy given the time that our country is going through but our Queen was dedicated all throughout to bring pride and joy to our country in these times through her representation.”
Adline also assured her dedication as she said, “I aim to bring pride and joy to my country India through my representation at Miss Universe. I’ll be wearing the sash that says INDIA across my heart, the sash which is made from the blessings, love, warmth and the beautiful smiles of the citizens of India!”
Adline is overwhelmed with the support she has been receiving, taking the first step towards a dream that is not only hers but millions of Indians, Adline was out of words to describe the influx of emotions. She looked stunning in a gorgeous Sataara white pant suit.
Adline would continue to focus on her advocacy which is about the sustainable livelihood for farmers along with her team. She has been raising funds for the food growing women farmers of India. She is very optimistic and opportunist, ready to take risks in life. She would also like to work on empowering young women who have a ting of self-doubt because they are told they are not fair or apt size. “Beauty exists in all shapes and sizes, all colors. And that inspired me to truly accept myself and move on”, she explained.
Miss Universe 2020 will be held on 16th May 2021 in Hollywood, Florida. The delegates will be staying at the Hotel Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida, USA. Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. If Adline wins Miss Universe 2020, she will be the beauty pageant’s third titleholder from India. The first two were Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen and Miss Universe 2000 Lara Dutta.
