Miss Universe Italy 2019 has been recently announced and the winner is none other than Sofia Marilù Trimarco. She succeeds Miss Universe Italy 2018 Erica De Matteis. Along with earning the right to represent Italy at Miss Universe 2019, Sofia has also taken over the responsibilities and advocacies associated with the title.

The 20-year-old beauty who hails from Buccino and is a law student performed with sincerity and dedication and bested thirty-nine other delegates at the coronation night held on 25th August 2019 at the Cinecittà World in Rome. The beauty along with winning the crown also won everyone’s heart with her stellar performance.

After winning the crown, the beauty revealed her happiness and excitement as she took to her official Instagram and posted, ‘“Tonight I realized a dream! With so much happiness, just as much pride and a little disbelief, I can say that I am Miss Universe Italy 2019! The lucky girl who will represent Italy in the world final that will take place in the Philippines in December! I could not be more honoured. An emotion so strong as to be indescribable.”
