Miss Universe Jamaica 2020 Final Hot Picks

Miss Universe Jamaica 2020 is all set to host its grand finale on 12th December 2020 exclusively on FLOW 1 TV where ten stunning finalists will compete for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Jamaica at Miss Universe 2020. She succeeds Miss Universe Jamaica 2019 Iana Tickle Garcia.

We’ve selected the top three candidates from the group who we think have the potential to win the title and represent Jamaica at Miss Universe 2020 stage. This year’s batch boasts of talented, hardworking, and focused divas who have performed exceptionally well but these three have performed exceedingly well making to every favourite’s list. Let’s look at the favourites for Miss Universe Jamaica 2020:

Miqueal-Symone

Miqueal-Symone is 23-years-old and stands 177 cm tall and has her bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of the West Indies. At the age of 21, she began her career as a model, traveling to the UK, Paris, Spain, and New York.  Miqueal-Symone has a passion for inspiring and supporting children and teenagers. She believes that at this impressionable age, it is important for youth to feel loved, included and inspired. She is one of the favourites for the title and has performed exceptionally well throughout the competition. She wants to encourage persons to be active in their groups and communities. She adds, “If you want to change the world, start with one person, one thing, one dream. And then you will realize that you are already being the change”.

 

 

Samantha Williams

Samantha Williams is 26-years-old and stands 182 cm tall and has managed to be one of the favourites for the title of Miss Universe Jamaica 2020. She is a television presenter who has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and enjoys and cherishes the time spent with the people she cares for. Her aim is to be able to secure financial stability for her mother and to be a lead TV station anchor. She is passionate about being more informed regarding Women's health after losing her Grandmother in 2016, so the goal is to be a volunteer or a board member for a company that focuses on women's health & empowerment. She is also passionate about children and their education.

 

 

Shanique Thompson

Shanique Thompson is 23-years-old and stands 170 cm tall and currently holds a BSc degree in Business Administration, who is currently employed to Barita Investments Limited in Mandeville. The strong, confident, and determined diva aspires to own a brokerage firm in Jamaica, because financial literacy for her is an important aspect of life. She explained, “It is my aim to make Jamaica a better place financially which in turn would lead to better spending and investing habits.” Giving the opportunity to children who are from underprivileged homes the chance to be educated is a cause that is very important to her and she would use the platform to create awareness and opportunities for the same.
