The 2022 edition of Miss Universe Jamaica was held at the Grand Ballroom of the AC Hotel by Marriott Kingston in Kingston, Jamaica yesterday where Toshami Calvin was crowned Miss Universe Jamaica 2022. She is all set to represent Jamaica at Miss Universe 2022.
Toshami competed as Miss Giajay Natural Gift & Body Shop. She was also named Best in Evening Gown and tied with Miss WiPay Jamaica Shanique Singh for the Essence of Style award. Toshami hails from Saint Thomas, Jamaica.
Toshami earned her bachelor’s degree in health science from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Orange County, Florida, United States. The stunning beauty works with children in the autism spectrum by providing them therapy.
Also at the end of the event finale, Miss Millennium Paving Stones Ltd Rachel Silvera was adjudged first runner-up while Shanique Singh was named second runner-up.
Toshami succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Jamaica 2021 Daena Soares who represented Jamaica at Miss Universe 2021. Jamaica is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Universe. Congratulations.
