At the finals gala night of Miss Universe Kenya 2014 pageant held on November 8’ 2014 at Jacaranda Hotel Westlands, Gaylyne Ayugi has been crowned Miss Universe Kenya 2014. She succeeds Rachel Marete, the Miss Universe Kenya 2005.
Gaylyne, 19 years of age, defeated nine other contestants to clinch the coveted title. She will now represent Kenya at Miss Universe 2014 pageant to be held in Doral, USA on January 25' 2015.
Julieth Kiruhi finished as first runner-up and Margareth Wanjiru was second runner-up.
