At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Universe Albania and Kosovo 2020 held just hours ago, Blerta Veseli was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Kosovo at Miss Universe 2020.
The 23-year-old beauty gave a stunning performance at the finale besting six other girls to win the national crown. A student of architecture, Blerta was brown in Gjilan and now lives in Prishtina. Blerta prepared for her national stint with absolute determination and sincerity and impressed the jury the most. Blerta believes in the quote, “The individual power of each can bring about change in the community."
Blerta also took to her official social media to reveal her happiness on being crowned Miss Universe Kosovo 2020 in a post captioned, “Miss Universe Kosovo 2020 Krenare që do të përfaqësoj vendin tim në Miss Universe 2020. Shumë falenderime për dashurinë e madhe dhe përkrahjen që më keni dhënë. (Miss Universe Kosovo! Proud to represent my country in Miss Universe 2020. Many thanks for the great love and support you have given me.)”
The stunning ladies who competed for Miss Universe Kosovo 2020 were Shkurtesa ‘Tutti’ Sejdiu, Alba Rama, Blerta Veseli, Arta Osmani, Negrita Kastrati, Elhame Avdiu, Romantika Bardheci.
Last year, Miss Universe Kosovo 2019 Fatbardha Hoxha competed in Miss Universe 2019 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 20. The country is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Universe pageant.
