Maya Turdalieva was crowned Miss Universe Kyrgyzstan 2023 at the finale of Miss Kyrgyzstan 2023 which was held on Tuesday, 3rd October 2023 in Bishkek. Kyrgyzstan was supposed to compete at Miss Universe 2023 but withdrew its participation. Maya will now represent her country at Miss Universe 2024.

Maya Turdalieva is a model by profession. On winning the opportunity to represent her country at Miss Universe, Maya wrote, “Dear friends and compatriots, today is a special day for me and I want to express my deep gratitude to each of you for the support, kind words and faith you have shown during my journey to the title of Miss Kyrgyzstan. This month was filled with incredible emotions and unforgettable moments. I am proud that I can now represent our beautiful country in this prestigious Miss Universe 2024 beauty pageant.”

The 73rd edition of Miss Universe, i.e. Miss Universe 2024, will be held next year in Mexico where Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
