The press conference was held at the Intermark mall where contestants such as Nicolle Tan, 19, Tanalaksiumy, 22, Sonia Naidu, 22, Samantha Katie, 21, Jaspreet Kaur, 23, and Erica Tan, 25, gathered together. The contestants first got in touch with their stylish sides at the Trendy20 store where they tried on different sunglasses and then moved on for the press conference.
Tammy Singho, 20, shared that ‘everyone is excited as well as nervous at the same time.’ Just before the press conference, the Catwalk Guru, Chris NG gave them a good rehearsal in order to make sure that the girls carry themselves confidently during the press conference. 21 year old Samantha Katie shared that this will be the first time that the public of Malaysia will get to see the beauty.
Dana Low expressed that they all are ‘anxious but very excited’ and continued saying “all want to give each other support right now.”
The beauties of the 54th edition of the national pageant namely, Dana Low, Dewina Petrus Guriting, Erica Tan, Gina Phillips, Jaspreet Kaur, Karshini Ghanesh, Laura Simon, Maegan Yip, Michelle Soin, Nicolle Tan, Ollemadthee Kunasagaran, Peh Leon, Samantha Katie James, Savina Devi K. Thamilavanan, Sonia Naidu Devakrishnan, Tammy Marion Singho, Tanalaksiumy Mahenthiran Rayer and Zara Tam, dazzled in front of the public and press who were extremely excited to see the stunners.
