The coronation ceremony for Miss Universe Malaysia 2020 will be held soon where the 16 delegates from all over the country will compete for the national title and an opportunity to represent Malaysia at Miss Universe 2020 stage. The coronation ceremony was initially scheduled to be held on 5th September 2020 but was cancelled due to the outbreak of the pandemic in the country. The organization has recently announced that they have set a date for the finale night and will announce the details soon.
Rindsay Rachelle Laige is one of the sixteen delegates who have been finalized for competing at the competition for the national title. Hailing from Sabah, Rachelle is 21-years-old and stands 168 cm tall. She is currently a Law student along with working as a professional model.
The diva describes herself as a determined, hardworking individual with positive outlook in life and she strongly believe in the power of love and kindness to overcome all negatives. She explains that the beauty pageant is important for her to overcome her self-esteem and self-confidence issues and she believes that beauty pageants really help in overcoming all these fears as one must be very focused and determined in order to win the title.
Rachelle believes that she is the kind of woman who takes criticism in a positive way and work towards acing that imperfection she has. She also mentioned that it is impossible to impress and please everyone but she will try her best to do during the pageant. When she was asked to describe women in the current scenario, she explained that, “Women are not only the nurture of the human race, but are also the backbone and builder of a nation.”
Rachelle is beautiful, confident, strong, and focused towards winning and she has already started to prepare herself for the pageant as she is working on her on-stage walk, body angles, body postures, communication, and interview skills. She has always worked hard towards reaching to where she is today and is extremely thankful to all the people who have helped and motivated her to be here. She wants to use the platform given to her to talk about self-confidence and motivation in youth especially younger generation. She believes that she can be a positive and impactful role model for the aspiring girls and make them believe in them like she is.
The diva likes to travel and meet new people which is one of the reasons why she is always ready to have a good chat with everyone. She is very excited to be sharing a stage with beautiful divas from Malaysia as she believes that each delegate has taught her something or the other for which she is grateful to the Miss Universe Malaysia organization.
With her strong hold at the competition, confidence and focus at the winning, Rindsay Rachelle Laige is emerging as a potential winner for the title. Miss Universe Malaysia 2019 Shweta Sekhon of Kuala Lumpur will crown her successor at end of the event. The winner will also receive a cash prize and sponsored prizes with a combined value of RM 180,000 and a full education scholarship from HELP University.
