Estrella Maritius Organization reveals scoring criteria for the winner

Now the organization has also released the criteria that they will be using to score the contestants.

Here is the scoreboard that the judges will loosely be using for their decision of who will wear the Miss Universe Maritius 2018 crown.

All contestants will do a psychological test so we get to know who they really are.

The results will be given to the preliminary judges for an interview process comprising of:

Dual interview.

Individual interview.

A written general knowledge test.

A group assessment.

(60% scoring)

Then the fitness preview (20% scoring) and finally the elegance preview (20% scoring) will follow.

The 8 candidates with the highest marks will make it to the semifinals.

All scores will be reset to zero for the live telecast. The contestants will be scored in:

Interview, Fitness and Elegance. The highest and lowest scores will be removed, ensuring a true score is obtained.

The 5 contestants with the highest scores move to the top 5. They will be asked a general question, which they will randomly choose.

The top 3 will be asked the same question and they will do a final preview for the judges to cast their last votes.

Our 15 remaining contestants will get to vote for whom they believe should win, be the 1st and 2nd runners-up.

Their vote matters as they have spent quite a bit of time together and they can see who has the potentials to be the deserved winner.
