Miss Universe Mongolia organization, through their official social media, announced that Namuunzul Batmagnai will be representing Mongolia at Miss Universe 2023. Earlier, Zandang Nominzul was crowned Miss Universe Mongolia 2023 and was supposed to represent Mongolia at Miss Universe 2023.

However, the national organization announced that she won’t be able to compete at the upcoming edition and Namuunzul Batmagnai, who was placed as the runner-up at Miss Universe Mongolia 2023, will be replacing her as Mongolia’s representative at Miss Universe 2023.

The official announcement was as follows –

“Miss Universe Mongolia 2023 competition was successfully held on October 10, and Zandang Nominzul was declared the national winner. The 72nd Miss Universe pageant will start on November 2 in El Salvador, and it is announced that the national winner Z. Nominzul will not be able to participate in this pageant.Our organization has made an official request to JKN Universe to allow Z. Nominzul to participate in the 2024 Miss Universe competition.”

Namuunzul Batmagnai is 23 years of age and hails from Batmagnay. She speaks fluent English and will prepare to represent Mongolia at Miss Universe 2023. The 72nd edition of Miss Universe, will be held in El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where R'Bonney Gabriel of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
