Jang Da-yeon, runner-up at Miss Korea 2023, has been appointed Miss Earth Korea 2023 and will now aim for a back-to-back win at Miss Earth 2023 this year. Last year, Mina Sue Choi of South Korea was crowned as the first ever Miss Earth winner from her country.

Jang Da-yeon is an English literature student which makes her fluent in the language. Her stunning beauty, strong eloquence and charming personality will make her a strong competitor for the Miss Earth crown this year giving South Korea a strong representation this year.

Miss Earth organization, through their official social media, announced her representation as well and wrote, “Jang Da-yeon, an English Language and Literature student, has been selected as #MissEarth Korea 2023. She would like to be an announcer with a sincere heart towards the world, not just conveying information. Jang advocates for the achievement of a harmonious coexistence between human and nature.”

Miss Earth 2023, the 23rd edition of Miss Earth, will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 22nd December 2023 where Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi of South Korea will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
