Fatima-Zahra Khayat crowned Miss Universe Morocco 2021

The Miss Universe Morocco organization hosted the 2021 edition of the national pageant recently where stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the coveted title and an opportunity to represent the country at the Miss Universe pageant. At the end of the event, Fatima-Zahra Khayat was crowned Miss Universe Morocco 2021.

Fatima is 26 years old and currently lives in Paris, where she works as a financial auditor. In addition, she has always wanted to be an ambassador for her country and its culture, mainly to show the world that Moroccan women are strong, hard-working, intelligent and open-minded. She shared that the title is an opportunity for her to show all the girls that anything is possible and that all dreams come true.

Under her delegation, Morocco will be returning to the Miss Universe stage after 8 long years. She succeeds Miss Universe Morocco 2012 Sarah Mouatamid to the title. The organization took to their social media to share her election as they wrote, “Congratulations to Fatima Zahra Khayat elected Miss Universe Morocco 2021. Our new miss shined with her naturalness, her smile and her personality during the election ceremony. She will represent Morocco with talent and elegance in Miss Universe 2021.”

Fatima will now be preparing for her international stint at the Miss Universe stage. She will represent Morocco at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant. Miss Universe 2021 will be the 70th Miss Universe pageant, to be held on December 12, 2021 in Eilat, Israel. Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event.
