Shi Yin Yang crowned Miss Universe China 2021

The Miss China organization hosted the coronation ceremony for Miss Universe China 2021 on 7th November 2021 in Beijing, where Shi Yin Yang was crowned as the new queen and won the chance to represent China at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant. She succeeded Miss Universe China 2020 Jianxin Sun for the title.

20 years-old Shi is a college scholar learning social communication. Shi Yin Yang now has the responsibility of achieving the first Miss Universe crown for her country which debuted in 2002 and has classified four times. In 2002, China’s representative was Zhuo Ling, who finished second runner-up. Representing the country, Luo Zili was fourth runner-up in 2011. Jin Ye and Roxette Qiu finished in the Top 16 in 2013 and in 2017, respectively. Shin is the 20th woman to represent China at Miss Universe.

Earlier this year, Jianxin Sun represent China at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant in Miami, where she finished unplaced. Shin will soon be heading to Israel to represent China as all the Miss Universe 2021 candidates are required to reach in Eilat on or earlier than 28th November. She will be competing against more than 70 delegates. The 70th edition of Miss Universe pageant, i.e., Miss Universe 2021 is scheduled to take place on 12th December 2021 in Eilat, Israel, where the reigning queen, Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event.
