Katheryn Yejas crowned Señorita Panamá Grand 2022

The organization of Señorita Panamá hosted the coronation for Señorita Panamá Grand 2022 on 7th November 2021, at Hotel Whyndham Convention Center, Panama City, where delegates from all over the country competed for the national crown and the chance to represent Panama at Miss Grand International 2021. Katheryn Yejas was crowned as Señorita Panamá Grand 2022 as she succeeded Señorita Panamá Grand 2021 Massiel Alejandra Llamas to the title.

Katheryn Yejas is a professional makeup artist and loves all things beauty. She is also a dancer and choreographer and currently works with ‘Trokis Crew’, a professional dance crew founded by dancer and choreographer Rudiel Collantes. She hails from Panama City and did her high school education from The Oxford School.

Katheryn is not new to the world of pageantry, previously she went on to win the title of Señorita Taboga. As talented as she is, this beauty queen is also fluent in two languages, i.e., Spanish and English.

The event also saw the crowning of two more national queens, i.e., Señorita Panamá 2021 and Señorita Panamá Supranational 2022 on the beautiful night, where Brenda smith was crowned as the new Señorita Panamá 2021 succeeding Carmen Isabel Jaramillo, titleholder of Señorita Panamá 2020. She will now represent the country at Miss Universe 2021 which is to be held in December, 2021 in Israel. Whereas Cecilia Medina won the crown of Señorita Panamá Supranational 2022 succeeding the reigning Panama supranational queen Darelys Santos to the title. She will now represent Panama at Miss Supranational 2022 to be held in Poland next year.
