Cecilia Medina crowned Señorita Panamá Supranational 2022

The organization of Señorita Panamá hosted the coronation for Señorita Panamá Supranational 2021 on 7th November 2021, at Hotel Whyndham Convention Center, Panama City, where delegates from all over the country competed for the national crown and the chance to represent Panama at Miss Supranational 2022. Cecilia Medina was crowned as Señorita Panamá Supranational 2021 as she succeeded Señorita Panamá Supranational 2020 Darelys Santos to the title.

Cecilia holds a degree in Logistics and Multimodal Transport and is a mental and physical health advocate. No stranger to the pageant world, previously she won the Señorita Casco Antiguo.



Talking about her experience in the pageant, queen took to her social media a day before the coronation and wrote, “The big day has come! Being at Señorita Panamá has been the best experience of my life. I will never regret having made the decision to participate; In 2019 I decided to complete my file, being one of those selected, in 2020 my participation officially begins, unfortunately we were affected by a global pandemic that delayed absolutely everything but this did not prevent me from continuing and today I am here 2 years later culminating a beautiful project. Whatever happens today, I will always be proud to have accepted this challenge. Thank you all for your words and for your support.”

The event saw the crowning of two more national queens, i.e., Señorita Panamá 2021 and Señorita Panamá Grand 2022 on the beautiful night, where Brenda smith was crowned as the new Señorita Panamá 2021 succeeding Carmen Isabel Jaramillo, titleholder of Señorita Panamá 2020. She will now represent the country at Miss Universe 2021 which is to be held in December, 2021 in Israel.



Whereas Katheryn Yejas won the crown of Señorita Panamá Grand 2022 succeeding the reigning queen Angie Keith to the title. She will now represent Panama at Miss Grand International 2022.
