She has succeeded Miss Universe Nepal 2019 Pradeepta Adhikari for the title.

The top ten finalists were asked a question from a respective jury member that tested their prudence and confidence. The finalists had to answer the question within thirty seconds. Let’s look at their answers:

Nina Kant Mandal was the first diva to answer the question, and she was asked, “What advise would you give to a young woman of today from the things you have learned in life?” Nina confidently answered, “Being a young woman myself, I know how it feels to be judged by the society and to live in a patriarchal world. I would just like to say to them to be themselves, be brave, and don not let go of their dreams because I let go of my dream once and I regret it but now here I am standing because I am brave enough to be here.”

Priya Sigdel was asked, “What would be you voice to the individuals who are fighting the battle of mental health?” The diva answered, “Mental Health is real and we need to talk about it. It starts with one’s own family. Talk to your parents, friends, and everyone around because Mental Health is serious and when we talk about it; when we start talking about it, we can resemble one thing that is that Mental Health cannot be ignored and no matter what until and unless we raise awareness from our own level. Everyone here carries a responsibility to aware about Mental Health.”

Sujita Basnet was asked, “What can we learn from the animals?” to which she answered, “Animals are a part of our eco-system and in order to make our mother earth flourish we need to take care of our animals as well. I know a lot of people don’t think that animal rights matter but for our ecotype to run healthy, to strive and thrive we need to take care of our animals. We need to take care of our animals not only in our community but also at eco-system level.”

Anshika Sharma was asked, “What is the beautiful form of art you’ve come across and why?” Anshika answered, “The beautiful form of art I’ve come across is self-love. I believe that self-love is an art itself as not everybody can resemble to it. I’ve learned self-love through my challenges through the stories I gone through. I would also like to motive people to practice self-love because in this world nobody comes first than you.”

Parmita Rana was asked, “What is a way of dealing with cyber-bullying?” The diva answered, “Social Media has been an essential part and me being in the media field, it is my bread and butter. But we can see that social media bullying has been prevailing and is so disheartening especially being a victim of cyber bullying I want to tell everyone to be kind, compassionate as you will only know what others are going through only when you place yourself in their place.”

Roshani Khatri was asked, “If you were a multi-billionaire, where would you invest in Nepal and why?” Roshani sounded confident and answered, “I have a prepared answer for this as this is my advocacy. My name is Roshani and I would like to light Nepal with the education and with all my money I would like to educate every single child in Nepal, make the education free for everybody. I am here because of the good education I received and I believe that every girl can be Miss Universe Nepal. Be the next Brave Bold and Beautiful with right education.”

Dikta Thapa was asked, “What are doing from your end in order to add to the sustainable goals of Nepal?” Dikta answered, “When we talk about Sustainable Development, there are so many sectors that we fail to be sustained like education. We see many ladies and women in school but not in workplace and that is not sustainable. Women are going to school to get married and that’s not right. So, from my end what I am doing is to encourage women to go to workplace and be equal to the men.”

Nancy Khadka was asked, “What was the hardest sacrifice you had to make while preparing for this title?” Nancy answered, “I believe that I did not have to make any sacrifice because I was really prepared to build myself as a resilient woman as I am today standing in front of you all so I don’t think I struggled to be here at the pageant instead I was well prepared to win the crown tonight.”

Arika Ranabhat was asked, “With your motto being Brave, Bold, and Beautiful; what could be your role in smashing the patriarchy?” The diva stated, “In Nepal, one of the major problems we face is the patriarchy as Nepal is a male dominated society. I believe that changes begin from home so, we individuals must want to make the changes. We women must be bold enough, brave enough and beautiful enough to make the change in the home, society and the country.”

Parichhya Bista was asked, “How do you define the Youth of Nepal and what advise would you like to give them?” The diva answered, “The youth of Nepal to be precise is power, and future. The advice I would like to give them is that you have the power. You have the power to change, the voice to change the nation for the development of the nation. So, raise your voice and be the change.”
