Miss Universe Nepal 2020 1st Hot Picks

The organization of Miss Universe Nepal is all set to host the 2020 edition on 30th December 2020 where the stunning eighteen finalists will compete for the national crown and earn the chance to represent the country at the Miss Universe 2020. The winner of Miss Universe Nepal 2020 will succeed Miss Universe Nepal 2019 Pradeepta Adhikari.

The eighteen finalists will start with their close camp where one-on-one pre-interview sessions with each contestant will be conducted along with starting with a special Brave Bold Beautiful Advocacy Event. We’ve selected our top nine early favourites who we think have the potential to win the title and represent Nepal at Miss Universe 2020 stage. Let’s look at the favourites for Miss Universe Nepal 2020:

Rajani Mishra

Rajani Mishra is 21-years-old and stands 162 cm tall and is one of the favourites for the title. She is very grateful for the opportunities she has received till now and is working hard to be the best. She has shown immense dedication and determination to represent Nepal at the international stage. She was very young when she desired to be a beauty queen but due to some medical issues, she had to opt out but the 2020 edition helped her to dream again and she urges everyone to never stop dreaming and believing in their dreams.

 

 

Rozina Shrestha

Rozina Shrestha is 26-years-old and stands 177 cm tall with a degree of Master’s in Business Administration from Ace Institute of Management. She was previously crowned as Miss Tourism World Nepal 2019 and is currently using the platform to vocalize about the issue of ‘Body shaming’ as she explained that she had to deal with the same a major part of her life and with the platform given to her; she wants to create awareness that everybody is beautiful and our worth is not determined by the weight. She is one of the favourites for the title and has managed to win the hearts of people.

 

 

Surabhi Khanal

Surabhi Khanal is 21-years-old and stands 168 cm tall and is currently pursuing her degree in Chemistry at Emory University, Atlanta, GA, USA. She is very passionate and dedicated towards representing her country at international stage. She is also an activist, poet and TV anchor who shows immense potential to represent Nepal at Miss Universe 2020 stage. Surabhi and her team works closely with the low-caste populations of Nepal, where a child’s future can be restricted due to societal oppression limiting their opportunities.

 

 

Nina Kant Mandal

Nina Kant Mandal is 25-years-old and stands 173 cm tall and is one of the strongest contenders for the title and has showcased immense dedication and focus towards winning and representing Nepal at the Miss Universe 2020 stage. She is a Mental Health advocate who speaks brilliantly and her enchanting personality, big beautiful and expressive eyes that seem to speak volumes about her character. The courage that she showed to quitting her job and following her dream to become a model is inspiring and Nina’s confidence and determination has helped her to be one of the favourites for the title.

 

 

Sujita Basnet

Sujita Basnet is 27-years-old and stands 163 cm tall and one of the front runners for the title as she is a pageant veteran and has been performing exceptionally well at the competition. Sujita would use her platform to ensure that the voices of women around the world are heard. Priya Sigdel

Priya Sigdel is 25-years-old and stands 177 cm tall and was crowned Miss Earth Nepal 2018. She is working with SAJHA PARTY and now she is the national vice - coordinator of the Sajha Youth Organization. The diva has been empowering women from marginalized communities in Nepal by working as a founder director in HATTIHATTI. Priya is one of the strongest contenders for the title who is not only favourite but also has been performing exceptionally well at the competition with her confidence, and communication skill, she has impressed everyone.

 

 

Roshni Khatri

Roshni Khatri is 24-years-old and stands 176 cm tall and was crowned Miss Earth Nepal 2016 and is already aware about how the beauty pageant world works which is why she has been a consistent performer. She believes what her sister states that one should never let the external factor define them, you can learn from one’s own inner zeal to live life the way they want, unapologetic and dreamy. She is excited to perform on-stage and take the crown home.

 

 

Nancy Khadka

Nancy Khadka is 24-years-old and stands 170 cm tall and has managed to impress everyone with her confident, focused, and strong personality that showcase her zeal to represent Nepal at Miss Universe 2020 stage. She will use the platform to educate and create awareness regarding women empowerment and is very grateful to be in the top finalists for the competition. Paramita Tania Parker

Paramita Rana is 27-years-old and stands 171 cm tall and is one of the delegates who shifted her dream from being as astronaut to being a beauty queen and later actress. She is hardworking a dedicated which shows throughout the competition and has finally made it to the favourites list. Her desire to follow her passion and represent Nepal at international stage shows in her performance.
