The Miss Universe Nepal organization is all set to host the 2021 edition of the national pageant on 30th October 2021, where aspiring delegates from all over the country will compete against each other for the title and an opportunity to represent Nepal at Miss Universe 2021. The winner will succeed Miss Universe Nepal 2020 Anshika Sharma for the title.

The organization has recently released the official portraits of the stunning Top 16 finalists as they approach the last leg of the competition before the grand coronation this weekend. Carrying forward the ‘Brave, Bold, Beautiful’ tagline, this year's pageant is all set to be a power-packed competition. While this year’s batch boasts of inspiring and talented divas, some of them have stood out as strong and potential contenders for the title this year.

So, without any further ado, here are our Top 5 favourites for Miss Universe Nepal 2021 (in no particular order) –

Smarika Karki

20 years-old Smarika has dreamt of being Miss Universe ever since she was 7-years old. She has since broken through her insecurities and believes in her ability to meet her dream woman by becoming her dream woman. As Miss Universe, she hopes to inspire girls to become the woman of her dreams.

 

 

Mandira Karki

A dental surgeon by profession, hailing from Ramechhap, Mandira is 27 years old and has been practicing her bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery for two years. She believes that she is a work in progress, constantly working on in learning new things every day to be a better version of herself. She also runs an art studio as a freelance artist through which she raise funds. She is a big-time learner with a positive attitude who wants to be Miss Universe Nepal because she believes she perfectly represents an average Nepali girl.

 

 

Sujita Basnet

With a belief that it’s not easy to fulfill your dreams but with patience and persistence, you can turn your dreams into reality, 28 years-old Sujita is a pageant veteran on a journey to win hearts and represent Nepal internationally. Along with her own dreams, she hopes to inspire the dreams of individuals across the nation through her initiative ‘Liberated’, an organization dedicated to empower women who are socially and financially bound from reaching their potential.

 

 

Rakchya Upreti

25 years old Rakchya is an aspiring biotechnologist, yoga enthusiast, and dancing hobbyist. She is an advocate for street children and hopes that as Miss Universe Nepal she can help better the lives of these children. Not new to pageantry, Rakchya was on the Top 7 of Miss Nepal 2019. She is very hardworking and has been consistent throughout the competition so far.

 

 

Nina Kant Mandal

One of the strongest delegates this year, Nina Kant Mandal is a 26 years old advocate for mental health awareness. Nina wants to use the Miss Universe platform to showcase her values of being a kindhearted, strong, hardworking, and communicative leader. She believes she can not only put Nepal on the map of the universe but bring the Universe to Nepal. Prior to this, she was also the runner up in Miss Universe Nepal 2020.
