The esteemed pageant of Norway, Miss Norway 2016, is on its road to the gala finale with a big hurray as the 17 beautiful young women have been shortlisted to compete at the Miss Norway 2016 finale, which is set to be held on Saturday, July 30’ 2016 at at the Åpen Scene in Oslo.

One fortunate finalist will get the exciting chance to represent Norway at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant to be held later this year. The winner of Miss Norway 2016 will succeed the reigning Miss Universe Norway, Martine Rødseth. Martine represented Norway at the 64th edition of Miss Universe pageant, which saw Pia Alonzo Wrutzbach as a winner.  

The gorgeous candidates were handpicked after accomplishing different activities like commercial engagement, marketing, blogging, press events, charity events, press interviews and overall assessments, based on the video presentation and their general performance.

The prestigious pageant of Norway, Miss Norway 2016 focuses on powerful women who stand on their feet. Women who can put extra efforts to make the society grow faster doing charitable work, business activities and being a positive role model for people.   

In the year of 2013, Miss Norway pageant modified the competition by incorporating a performance improvement program. The competition tenure was extended to 10 to 12 months.
