With all the speculations surrounding the franchise of Miss Universe Philippines if former Ilocos Sur Gov. Luis Chavit Singson will take over the local franchisee or if it will stay with Binibining Pilipinas, the wait for the Filipinos is over as Miss Universe Organization officially confirmed the news.
Miss Universe Organisation said, “the group of Singson is supporting the efforts of MUO and the BPCI ‘in seeking to modernize and grow the brand into more than a one day special and LCS (Luis Chavit Singson) has agreed to support us in our efforts to do so’”.
