Making headlines, the beautiful Peruvian model Alessia Rovegno surprised her followers and pageant fanatics as she recently appeared with Miss Peru organization’s director Jessica Newton. The latter posted a picture with the diva as she wrote, “Sometimes the best decisions are the hardest to make. I loved meeting you Alessia,” sparking the rumours of new beginnings. The meeting is being anticipated to be about Alessia’s application for Miss Peru 2022.

Alessia Rovegno stands out for her great beauty and modeling skills. In 2017, when she was just 19 years old, the young model had the opportunity to be accepted as an applicant for the giant brand Victoria's Secret and thus be able to parade down the ramp for the iconic brand.

The 24 year-old model and businesswoman is one of the daughters of actress Bárbara Cayó and businessman Lucho Rovegno. She is well known for being the niece of megastar Stephanie Cayo and being a part of the Cayo clan, one of the families with the greatest influence and artistic trajectory in Peru, and now she seeks to shine with her own light in the music industry.

Although Alessia Rovegno is used to the spotlight due to her talented family and her career as a model and singer, she most recently she appeared for the first time on Peruvian television, on En Boca de Todos. During the interview, she indicated that she is working as a model in New York, but she is developing her career as a singer in Lima, Peru.

After Jessica’s post, the pageant fans have been stirred with excitement to see Rovegno at the national pageant. The vast majority of them approved her candidacy for Miss Peru 2022. If she decides to enter the competition, Alessia will definitely be a strong contender to look out for. The current queen of the title is Miss Peru 2021 Yely Rivera Kroll, who represented Peru at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant where she unfortunately failed to qualify among the Top 16.
