It has been officially announced that Steve Harvey is now part owner of Miss Universe along with WME/IMG, and he will also be hosting the finale. What the world is waiting to know is who will be Steve’s co-host for the night!! While the fans are waiting for crucial announcements, contestants are gearing up for the pageant.
Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina is also working hard to make a back to back at the pageant. During an interview on Friday, Maxine turned emotional as she received support messages from her siblings. As her brothers expressed their support via a taped message, Medina shed tears. Also, her younger sister Ferica made a surprise visit for Maxine during the event.
Ferica was the one who encouraged Maxine to participate at the pageant. She said, "Sana you have the strength and courage to fight for the crown (I hope you have the strength and courage to fight for the crown). I really wish you all the best in life. God really has a purpose why you won, so make the Philippines proud.”
Maxine thanked her family for supporting her throughout her journey.
