On 30th April 2017, Philippines crowned its representatives for the major international pageants. Rachel Peters was crowned as Binibining Pilipinas 2017 and is all set to represent Philippines at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. This Fil-Brit beauty, Rachel, has more strength to show off than her imposing physical presence. People often mistake her to be aloof and selective of company. In fact, she is someone who is careful not to spread herself too much with people. She takes a while to warm up to new acquaintances. But once she does, the real warmth shines through.

The beauty queen received a grand homecoming parade on reaching back to her homeplace Camarines Sur. Fans welcomed the beauty with so much warmth and love, upon arrival. She toured around the streets of Camerines Sur as she waved at her fans and the media present their to cover the homecoming.
The tall lass Rachel Louise Peters said during one of her interviews that to celebrate individuality is her advocacy. Talking about the winning moment, Rachel said, “Wow, Universe, ha! It's a dream come true! I have no words. But I’m so happy and I’m so grateful for all the people who helped me along the way.”
“Thank u to all my family, and my friends, to my supporters who are here tonight. I love you all and I hope I can make the Philippines proud.” “Yes, there’s always pressure...you can’t keep letting the pressure affect you, because it’s about having fun,” Peters added. “Being a beauty queen, you have to learn and you have to grow every day -- that's more what I'm trying to focus on rather than [people] just comparing me to Pia or Maxine.”
Peters further added, “Listening to such comparisons will just stop you from being who you are.” I’m all about celebrating my individuality. That’s my advocacy,” she said. She said she needs to prepare herself well for the beauty pageant and to work on some minute details to bring that crown home.
