Apriel Smith has become the official representative of Cebu Province for Miss Universe Philippines 2020 after she was confirmed at the red-carpet presentation held on 14th February 2020 in Manila. The first edition of Miss Universe Philippines i.e. Miss Universe Philippines 2020 is all set to host its coronation on 3rd May 2020 in Mall of Asia Arena, Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila. Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados will crown her successor at the end of the finale.

Apriel Smith stands 175 cm tall and primarily hails from Cebu. She is now 24 years of age and, also is an amazingly beautiful and talented starlet. In 2016 the diva joined the Binibining Pilipinas and was ended up being placed in the top 15.

As we already know, the diva is no new to pageantry as before her momentous win as the first Binibining Cebu in 2017, Smith joined a couple of pageants in and outside of Cebu. She was crowned Miss Dumanjug 2011, Miss Cebu City Olympics 2012, Sinulog Festival Queen 2012 and Miss Badian 2015. She was also placed third runner up in the Miss Mandaue 2013 and first runner up in the Reyna ng Aliwan 2017.

The diva is a mesmerizing beauty who always stands out from the rest. The Filipino-black American beauty queen is a model and, also an event host.  The diva will definitely be a strong contender as she is preparing well for the Miss Universe Philippines competition. She is more than excited for the pageant and, also very joyful for the fact that she will again mark her prints in the pageant.

The Miss Universe franchise in the Philippines, previously held by Binibining Pilipinas, was granted to Miss Universe Philippines organization which is headed by national director Shamcey Supsup-Lee. As a separate organization Miss Universe Philippines will encourage Filipina women to become empowered individuals, who also embody the mission of being agents of meaningful change wherever they are.
