Just as the Red-Carpet Presentation was held on 14th February 2020 for the Miss Universe Philippines 2020, the first edition of the national pageant, 52 stunning divas were unveiled who will now give a strong competition to each other to win the chance to represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2020.

Jo-Ann Flores hailing from Laguna, Philippines will represent this province in the first edition of Miss Universe Philippines 2020. Back in 2013, she entered into pageantry by participating in Mutyang San Pablo 2013 and was also crowned as Miss Mutyang San Pablo 2013. Since then she remained out of participating in any other competitions. After a long break of 7 years, she has made a comeback in the world of pageantry as she will be vying for the crown of Miss Universe Philippines 2020.

Jo did her early education from Laguna College, San Pablo City, finishing it in 2009. Later she completed her bachelor's degree in 2013 from The University of Philippines. Majoring in hotel management and tourism, Jo has worked as the manager of various hotels. Belonging to the tourism background, she naturally is inclined towards traveling and loves to explore the world. She usually plans trips and tries cuisines from all the places she visits. Jo is a fitness freak and hence keeps the count of her calorie intake. Her love for food does not impact her fitness regime. She exercises daily and even after 7 years, looks as young and beautiful as she was then. She is also fond of adventure and does not leave a single adventurous sport untried.

She is determined and focused and believes that limiting the challenges she faced in her life would have made her weak so she pushed her limits to cope up with all of them. Also, she thinks that the greatness of an individual lies within them and success is not an accident. It requires hardwork, passion, and dedication to achieve success and to do all great things in life. She sets goals and reaches all of them one by one. It is clear that being titled as Miss Universe Philippines 2020 is her goal for this year. Let's see whether she is able to make it or not.
