Miss Universe Philippines 2020 held its Red Carpet Presentation on 14th February 2020 where the official Top 52 contestants were unveiled. Miss Universe Philippines branched out from Binibining Philippines in 2019 to form a separate pageant and now the winner will get the opportunity to be the official delegate of Philippines in Miss Universe 2020.
Maria Fee Tajaran, nicknamed Sasha has become the official representative of Romblon who will vie for the crown of Miss Universe Philippines 2020. Maria hails from Mandaue and is 25 years old. She stands 167 cms tall with beautiful features.
She started her career at the young age of 18 as a freelance model. After finishing her graduation in Human Resource Management from Datamax Institute Of Computer Technology in the year 2012-13, she also joined a school of acting named International Academy Of Film & Television, Cebu.
Maria participated in Miss World Tourism, Philippines in 2014 and received enormous love and support from her people in Romblon. Though she wasn't crowned that year, she learned to work on her flaws, polished herself and tried her luck again by applying in Miss Universe Philippines 2016. With more than 5 years of experience in the modeling career, she definitely will be a tough competition for other contenders.
Born in a family of 5 siblings, Sasha was the youngest of all. She was responsible and caring even at a very young age of 18. She always dreamt big and wanted to achieve recognition by doing something exceptional. Her desire to be immortal by deeds is clearly understood by her statement in the interview. She quoted, "We all live only once. I want to make my own legacy and prove my worth here on earth. Even when I am gone, I hope that my name will be remembered forever."
Coming from a middle-class family and being the daughter of a housewife, Sasha knew the worth of fame, money and wanted to change the world to make it a better place to live. Even after being young, Sasha supported her family. She wished to make Romblon rich in terms of tourism and really wanted to make the province grow.
Sasha is naturally attractive and possesses a charming personality. Her determination and perseverance can bring Romblon the crown and can make her the next delegate of Philippines in Miss Universe 2020 hosting on 3rd May 2020 in Mall of Asia Arena, Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila.
