Miss Universe Philippines 2020, hosting the inaugural edition of Miss Universe Philippines, is all set to begin the journey as the Red Carpet Presentation i.e. the official Press Presentation will be held on 14th February 2020 at the Manila Hotel. The official contestants of the pageant will be presented to the press.

The stunning beauties will be presented in an event that will unite the initial qualifiers from earlier screenings with the representatives of the Accredited Partners from different provinces and highly-urbanized cities in the country.

With so many wish lists being prepared for the competition, it is an opportunity for a lifetime for the Filipina beauties to begin their journey afresh at the newly branded national pageant which branched out from Binibining Pilipinas last year. Shamsey Supsup, the new director of the organization, has shown that she will put in everything to make this competition a successful edition this year.

At the pre-screening, pageant veterans graced the event which included Ysabella Roxas Ysmael, Sigrid Flores, Sandra Lemonon, Riana Pangindian, Pauline Amelinckx, Paula Madarieta Ortega, Michele Gumabao, Marí Danica Madrid Reynes, Maria Isabela Galeria, Lou Dominique Piczon, Kia Moreno, Hannah Arnold, Chiara Lyn Markwalder, Apriel Smith, and Alaiza Malinao. They will be joined by the ladies nominated by the accredited partners of MUP Org. (Miss Universe Philippines Organization).

The first ever winner of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 will be representing the Philippines at Miss Universe 2020. She will succeed Gazini Ganados, who was crowned in Binibining Pilipinas 2019 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on June 9, 2019.
