The first edition of Miss Universe Philippines i.e. Miss Universe Philippines 2020 will be hosted on 3rd May 2020 in Mall of Asia Arena, Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, where the delegates from all over the country will compete for the national title and a chance to represent the country at Miss Universe 2020. Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados will crown her successor at the end of the event.
The pageant has officially kicked-off with ardor and the divas are all filled with enthusiasm, as they are fully involved in the pre-pageant activities and are performing their best. Miss Universe Organization has recently organized its runway challenge on 29th February 2020, where the stunning Top 52 beauties showcased their learnings, they’ve had the last week for their phenomenal walks at the runway.
The candidates took turns doing their pasarela (pageant walk) on the pathway at the Uptown Parade, BGC, Taguig, wearing black dresses of their choice. The runway challenge is the first public appearance of the girls since the press presentation held on 14th February.
Each one of them looked mesmerizingly beautiful but there were these, who took over everyone’s heart with their catwalks and turns. So, without any further ado, let’s take a look at our favorite divas from the runway challenge of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 –
Rabiya Mateo from Iloilo City
Rabiya Mateo walked through the runway with full confidence, while the passion for Miss Universe Philippines was clearly seen in her eyes. She looked absolutely stunning as she wore a black bodycon dress which was fitting her perfectly.
Bea Theresa P. Maynigo from Baguio City
Bea Theresa with her billion-dollar smile, won everyone’s heart in the crowd as she walked with poise and attitude, in her asymmetrical dress. She looked absolutely stunning while she walked, showing off her long legs in the high thigh cut.
Mari Danica M. Reynes from Cagayan Province
Mari Danica walked with full attitude, and her graceful turns looked splendid as she walked through the runway in her high thigh cut black dress. The diva was interactive with the audience as well while she was walking, which was really impressive.
Tracy Maureen Perez from Cebu City
Tracy Maureen is well known for her fashion and her shimmery black dress in the runway challenge was another example for it. the beauty walked through the runway with full poise and boldness as she graced it with a little smile as well.
Alaiza Flor P. Malinao from Davao City
Alaiza is now in every list, whether it is for her fashion or her amazing walks. The fearless diva showed off her amazing dress which was designed by Joel Escober. She walked off with poise and without fear of her dress being stuck in her heels and it was something which surely left an impression on the judges.
Caroline Joy C. Veronilla from Misamis Oriental
It was Caroline, who made the most graceful turns while walking. She walked with splendid confidence and full attitude. Her dress was simply designed and her slick wet hairstyle made it a perfect combination for the runway event. She looked wonderful.
Ysabella R. Ysmael from Parañaque
Everyone’s favorite Ysabella, placed fire while walking through the runway. Her exquisite smile took away many hearts while her amazingly designed dress captured the attention of almost everyone there. The graceful diva outshined amongst all the contestants.
Sandra R. Lemonon from Taguig
Sandra is another contestant who is well known for her fashion style and her amazing long hair which looks perfect on her. The beauty walked in her bodycon black dress, with white colored sleek lining on her high thigh cut. The beauty walked with full poise while beautifully interacting with the audience. She looked really magnificent.
