The first edition of Miss Universe Philippines, i.e. Miss Universe Philippines 2020, will host its coronation night next year as the organization has left the wing of Binibining Pilipinas from this year. With wish lists being prepared for the potential delegates to join the pageant, it is interesting to note that everyone is eligible to participate this year.
For us, Trisha Bantigue is a substantial candidate for Miss Universe Philippines 2020 because of various reasons. Trisha was born in Angeles City, Pampamga but now lives in San Francisco. She is graduate from UC Berkeley with a degree in Political Science and a concentration on International Relations. She has worked at Google, Facebook and Uber before becoming the CEO of her own tech company called ‘Queenly’ which is a marketplace platform dedicated towards the formal wear industry.
Trisha is not new to the pageantry as she has various titles under her head which includes was Miss National Asia 2014, Miss Philippines USA 2015 Second Runner-Up, Miss California Earth 2016 and Miss Asian Global 2017. She has more than five years of pageantry experience which can be rewarding for the win. She not only wants to empower herself but other women too. She strongly believes that the pageants can help anyone to change the perspective of the people for good and she wants to use it for that.
Trisha is a public speaker and has taught children public speaking and given motivation speeches at various events in order to be a role model for underrepresented youth. She is very passionate about making her country better and improved than what it is today. She wants to improve the economy of her country by using the tech industry. She wants to provide the children with education, resources and mentorship.
With such a strong background into the pageant world and firm ideology towards the betterment of the world, Trisha Bantigue can come out as a strong contender for the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2020. She is an epitome of a modern Filipino-American woman and is beyond beautiful. Her social media shows how much she believes in empowering women as she updates her fans and followers with pictures of women she admires and supports. She shared a picture of Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi on her win and congratulated her as well. The kind of positivity, confidence and commitment Trisha shows towards her work, she can surely give a tough competition to her fellow contestants at Miss Universe Philippines 2020.
