Miss Universe Philippines 2021 new coronation date announced

Miss Universe Philippines 2021, initially scheduled to be held on 25th September 2021, was postponed due to sudden increase in the covid-19 cases in the country. Now, Miss Universe Philippines organization has announced the new coronation date for the 2021 edition following strict protocols.

The organization said, “The Miss Universe Philippines Organization is very happy to announce that the Province of Bohol will be our host for the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Pageant. The finals will be on Sept. 30 at the Henann Resort Convention Center in Panglao, Bohol. We are grateful to the Governor Arthur Yap, the Bohol LGUs and Tourism board and the IATF for allowing us to stage this year’s pageant in this most idyllic destination.”

 

 

Rabiya Mateo of Iloilo City will crown her successor at the end of the event. The winner will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant in Eilat, Israel in December 2021. The final competition will be broadcast by ABS-CBN through KTX.ph.

Only twenty-eight contestants will now compete for the national crown as two have withdrawn from the competition. Last edition’s winner Rabiya Mateo Miss Universe Philippines 2020 represented her country at Miss Universe 2020 and with her stunning performance, she placed in the Top 21.
