The Miss Universe Philippines organization is all set to host the coronation ceremony for Miss Universe Philippines 2021 on 25th September 2021. After a series of virtual challenges, the organization has announced Top 50 delegates, shortlisted out of the Top 75 contestants, who have moved a step closer to winning the coveted crown.

The organization saw them showcase their pasarela skills and beauty from the Runway and Casting Video challenges. The Top 50 selection was based on the fan votes along with Miss Universe Philippines organization judges. The shortlisted names include phenomenal women who are strong, determined and ready to inspire women all over the world.

For the next part of the competition, the delegates’ wits and spontaneity will be put to the test. This time, the verdict will be coming from a panel of experts. These Top 50 delegates will go to Manila for a live face-to-face interview challenge with the Miss Universe Philippines board of judges. Ultimately, a Top 30 will be chosen and announced.

The organization has recently shared and explained the selection process for the Final 30. The Final 30 is composed of; 27 Delegates selected by the Miss Universe Philippines Panelists and 3 Delegates who receive the highest votes (Votes from Save 3 from The Final 30).

The basis for selection is ALL of their performances in the previous challenges and the upcoming Interview Challenge. It is based solely on performance and NOT on the Fan Votes. High fan votes in the previous challenges doesn’t guarantee placement.

Voting is completely voluntary and is not a requirement to advance to the next round. So it is possible for a delegate to make it into the Top 30 completely on her own merit. However, if fans want to help secure a slot for their favorite in The Final 30 they can cast votes for them. Delegates who garner the top 3 highest fan votes total from 22nd to 31st August 2021, will automatically advance into The Final 30.

Out of these 30 delegates, one phenomenal woman will take away the crown of Miss Universe Philippines 2021 and win an opportunity to represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2021, scheduled to be held in Israel, this December. The winner of this year’s national pageant will succeed Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo who was placed at Top 21 at Miss Universe 2020.
