Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Sharifah Shahnaz Malabanan is 23 years of age and is representing Lemery, Batangas at the national competition. From 2016 to 2019, Malabanan attended the Lyceum of the Philippines in Batangas City, Philippines where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration. The stunning beauty also interned at ViiWorks.

Malabanan worked for EBC Hills Subdivision in Taal, Batangas as an administrative assistant and in February 2020, Sharifah moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates where her mother has worked in the last decade.

For six months, Malabanan worked as a waitress in Dubai. She resigned after deciding to move back to the Philippines and try her luck in pageantry. Malabanan represented Lemery at Miss Universe Philippines 2021 where she finished in the Top 75.

She is definitely a strong contender for the national crown and if she prepares with hard work and determination, Sharifah can place higher or even win on her second attempt at Miss Universe Philippines.
