Miss Universe Philippines organization has announced the Top 40 delegates who will be competing for the fourth edition of Miss Universe Philippines. The finale will be held on 13th May 2023 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena where Celeste Cortesi Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.  

In a series of features, lets introduce the Top 40 delegates of Miss Universe Philippines 2023. Diane Mae Refugio, representing Davao del norte, has made it as one of the official delegates of the national pageant.

Diane Mae Refugio is 23 years of age and stands 5 feet 7 inches tall. Diane is a graduate of Secondary Education with focus on sciences and a product of the #BinibiningDavaodelNorte pageant program.

Dianne Mae Refugio is a Licensed Professional Teacher. Her priority in life is to guide and develop the young minds of grade 12 students in science subjects while bringing them up to speed in the area of financial education and entrepreneurship. In the process, she hopes to ‘transform’ their knowledge into useful tools that will help create a new mindset in promoting both the tourism and agriculture potentials of her province.

“There is a saying that goes ‘change is the only constant in life.’ And if I can be instrumental in creating that positive change in others, then it would be a real fulfillment on my part”, said Dianne. Dianne, through her participation, wants the chance of bringing her advocacy to more members of the youth.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 winner will succeed Celeste Cortesi Miss Universe Philippines 2022, who represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2022 in January. The winner of the upcoming pageant will compete at the 72nd Miss Universe which will take place in El Salvador in late 2023.
