Miss Universe Philippines organization has announced the Top 40 delegates who will be competing for the fourth edition of Miss Universe Philippines. The finale date and time is yet to be announced for the pageant where Celeste Cortesi Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

In a series of features, lets introduce the Top 40 delegates of Miss Universe Philippines 2023. Jan Mari Bordon, representing Bacolod, has made it as one of the official contestants at the national pageant. Jan Marie Bordon is 22 years of age and hails from Apollo city.

From Aces and Queens camp, Jan Mari is currently a fourth-grade student of Tourism at La Consideration College. As for her advocacy, Jan wants to provide a safe space to everyone, especially the youth, who want to tell their stories and help them to open up in a safe environment.

On winning the opportunity to compete at Miss Universe Philippines 2023, Jan Marie took to her official social media as she wrote, “Opportunity in life is a gift from God and I take this opportunity to be part of Miss Universe Philippines 2023. As my new chapter and journey begins, I will take this as a privilege to tell my story and promote my advocacy. If you ask me, what do I feel? I feel proud and happy because I will be able to represent my hometown, the City of Smiles, Bacolod. Now, my book is open for you to read, know who I am and my advocacy. The stories that will inspire a lot of people.”

The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 winner will be the successor of Celeste Cortesi, who represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2022 in January. The winner of the upcoming pageant will compete at the 72nd Miss Universe which will take place in El Salvador in late 2023.
