Miss Universe Philippines organization has announced the Top 40 delegates who will be competing for the fourth edition of Miss Universe Philippines. The finale date and time is yet to be announced for the pageant where Celeste Cortesi Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

In a series of features, lets introduce the Top 40 delegates of Miss Universe Philippines 2023. Laicka B. Implamado, from Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro, has made it as one of the official delegates at the national competition.

Laicka B. Implamado is 26 years of age and stands 5 feet 7 inches tall. As the official delegate, Laicka advocates preservation of natural and cultural heritage specially the Mangyan and Tamaraw community.

On making it as one of the official delegates, Laicka B. Implamado took to her official social media as she wrote, “I tried it again! After winning Binibining Turismo 2017 and end up 1st Runner in MIMAROPA Festival, I decided to pursue my profession as educator and later joined the tourism, culture and the arts office. It's been years! until I decided to step back to pageantry. Now! I'm still in disbelief that I'm getting ready to conquer the Ms. Universe Philippines stage this year!”

The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 winner will be the successor of Celeste Cortesi, who represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2022 in January. The winner of the upcoming pageant will compete at the 72nd Miss Universe which will take place in El Salvador in late 2023.
